4,344 children of Tumaco and Magdalena benefit from new educational environments with First Learning Steps Program.
Genesis Foundation, in partnership with the Fundación Ramirez Moreno, provided with 179 new furniture to adapt educational spaces in 36 Early Childhood Education Centers located in Magdalena and Nariño, departments in which the First Learning Steps program operates.
Transforming these spaces allows teachers and educational agents to have an ideal environment and furniture suitable for pedagogical practice, which contribute to enrich teaching practices. The children have the possibility of create, research and learn with the right tools to enrich their routines and transform their way of learning.
This project focused on strengthening the pedagogical environments, taking into account the needs of some vulnerable areas in the departments of Magdalena and Tumaco, where Genesis Foundation has a direct impact on comprehensive care for children from 0 to 5 years old.
