Founded in 1955, Casita de Belén is a nonprofit organization offering protection and support to vulnerable children and their families in Cali.  Over 250 children who have been abandoned or are suffering from mental and physical trauma while still living with their families can find a safe haven to learn and grow at Casita de Belén.

Casita de Belén offers a safe haven for abandoned children from zero to five years old; preschool and elementary school for children from five to eight years old, and an after-school program.  In order to provide comprehensive assistance, the organization also offers nutritional support, health assistance, psychological support, art, recreation, and family intervention.

Genesis Foundation has supported Casita de Belén since 2006 with scholarships for vulnerable children as well as funds for educational equipment.
