Genesis continues to support quality education in Colombia

This week, Genesis Foundations Board of Directors approved a total of USD$ 283,110 to support 5 projects in Colombia that will benefit 29,812 underserved students with quality education programs.

Part of the resources will go to the operation of First Learning Steps in Nariño, as well as the center in Santa Marta, Magdalena.

Genesis will also invest part of these funds in the project Enseña por Colombia to contribute to the recruitment and capacity training of professionals for 20 public schools.

This grant also includes matching resources for new partners to replicate Palabrario in Cauca with Colombina S.A. and in Medellín with Natura.

Funds were also approved to perform impact evaluation for Mis Primeros Pasos Para la Excelencia which Genesis has supported since 2008.
