Semillas de Apego
Children from 0 to 5 years who have been exposed to violent situations and have grown up in disadvantaged and unreliable backgrounds, present severe and permanent consequences which affect their brain development, interfere in their cognitive and socio-emotional development and undermine its chances of carrying out a productive and healthy life.
The purpose of Semillas de Apego is to help the mother or primary caregiver become a reliable source of emotional and physical protection for the child. The 15-week program seeks to provide tools for mothers and primary caregivers to process their own traumatic experiences in order to improve the relationship with their children.
